A comprehensive 1 year course covering Tafsir, Sirah, Fiqh, Hadith &
‘Aqidah (open to Brothers and Sisters) | Wednesdays & Thursdays 7:00pm – 8:30pm
As Muslims we are obligated to seek and acquire a certain level of knowledge about our religion. This course has been designed specifically with this in mind; to provide Muslims with the opportunity to fulfil this important obligation and learn what is required as part of our faith.
Unfortunately many of us often don’t possess the minimum level of knowledge we are required to know as Muslims, such as our core Islamic beliefs, the Qur’an (its explanation and the Messenger ﷺ his life and teachings), rulings related to worship (Salah, Hajj, Zakat etc.) family and everyday life.
This course has been designed to provide Muslims with a strong foundation and allow them to better understand and appreciate the many important Islamic sciences.

Mufti Bilal al-Mahmudi
Mufti Bilal completed his memorisation of the Qur’an as well as the six year ‘Alimiyyah programme in the Islamic sciences at Darul Ulum Leicester, UK. He then went on to further his studies and completed an Ifta/Takhassus fi’ l-Fiqh (specialisation in fiqh and fatwa) course at Dar al-Ifta al-Mahmudiyyah in Durban, South Africa under renowned
specialists Mufti Ebrahim Desai and Mufti Husain Kadodia.
Shaykh Nizamul Hoque
Shaykh Nizam started his early education memorising the Qur’an, which he completed at Darul Ulum al-‘Arabiyyah al-Islamiyyah (Dar al-‘Ulum Bury), Bury, UK. Thereafter he commenced the ‘Alimiyyah programme in the Islamic sciences at Miftah al-‘Ulum, Blackburn, UK, where he completed four years of the course. He then travelled to Egypt where he spent a year studying various Islamic sciences before returning to the UK and completing the ‘Alimiyyah programme at Isha’at al-Islam (Ford Square Madrasah), London, UK.
